Cheapest Place to Buy a GPU in the UK in 2026

We compared GPU prices across eBay UK, CeX, Gumtree, Scan, Overclockers and Amazon UK for the most popular cards. Here's where each one is actually cheapest.

"Cheapest place to buy a GPU in the UK" doesn't have a single answer. It depends on the card, the day, and whether you want new or used. Here's the breakdown.

New GPUs — current generation

For brand-new current-gen cards (RTX 50-series, RX 9000-series), the prices are usually within £10 of each other across the major retailers. The differences:

  • Scan — best for early launch-day stock and proper UK warranty
  • Overclockers UK — sometimes £5–10 cheaper, slower delivery
  • Amazon UK — convenient but most listings are third-party with patchy warranty
  • Currys — overpriced by £20–40 unless they're clearing stock

Don't expect huge savings on new cards. The interesting market is used.

Used GPUs — where the savings are

This is what most buyers actually care about. A used RTX 3080 for £260 saves you £700 vs a new RTX 5070 that performs roughly the same. The catch is finding the cheap one before someone else does.

The three places that matter for used:

  • eBay UK — biggest pool, biggest spread, where steals live. Watch for auctions ending at odd hours.
  • CeX — fixed pricing, 2-year warranty, sometimes 5–10% above market but worth it for peace of mind
  • Gumtree — collection-only listings 10–15% below market, but you need to live near a city

The cheapest place is different every day. CeX undercuts the market when their stock pricing lags after a market drop. Gumtree wins when a desperate seller posts at 11pm on a Tuesday. eBay UK wins when an auction ends in the off-peak window.
